Use Industry Management
to track all of your industry and permit information. Easy to use tabs organize information into
sections. Each of the tabs or sections
is listed below. Note: Only
information in the Site Info, Account Info and Industry Dates
tabs can be edited directly from the Edit
Industry button. Information
on each of the other tabs must be edited by using the Add New and Details buttons within
those tabs. The fields from the first three tabs can be used to create custom
groups in our Groups and Queries feature, so consistency is very important.
- Site Info Tab– Track Site Id,
Industry Name, Industry Number, Address and GIS Coordinates. Note: you
can have multiple industries per site, and Industry Name and Industry
Number can be substituted with Permit Name and Permit Number. See Site Information.
- Account Info Tab- Manage Industry
Classification, Annual Fee, Average Daily Flow, Employees and much
more.
- Industry Dates Tab- Store your
important industry dates and frequencies.
These frequencies are used by Auto
Scheduler and Event Management
to automatically generate IU Sampling, Inspection, or Reporting
Events. Permit and Inspection Event
Dates can be viewed in the Industry Dates Tab only. To modify Event Dates you must create or
edit events in the Event Manager or
Event Tab.
- Monitoring Points tab - Locations
where compliance samples are collected; pollutant daily and average
compliance limits are displayed.
- Self Monitoring tab – Allows users
to manage / configure / schedule SMR Self Reporting events for Industries.
Go to SMR Self Monitoring Events to
learn more.
- Notes Tab- This will allow you to
store and track specific information regarding an industry (e.g. Spill
Plans, Process Descriptions, Pretreatment Equipment).
- Attachments Tab – Allows users to
attach multiple files to events and Industries/Facilities as well as many
other types of Linko records.
- Contacts Tab- Industry Contacts
can be viewed on the Contacts Tab. The company name and address are filled
automatically based on the information found in the Site Info tab. A
partial contact is automatically created for each new Facility you create
which you should then complete. You should create a contact for
each facility with a contact priority of 1; the contact information is
used on several reports and letters.
- Events Tab- All of an Industry’s
past, present and future activity is displayed here. From Violations to Sampling activity,
you can view and modify events for the selected industry right here.
- Codes Tab- Store and manage all of an Industry’s SIC, NAIC and CAT codes and
