down box offering a list of Industries by Industry #; changes the industry
displayed.
- Industry Name - Drop
down box offering a list of Industries by Name; changes the industry

box displaying the industry’s address; changes the industry displayed.
- Adding a New Industry - From the Industry Management Screen, click the New Industry button, and then enter the Industry ID, Company Name, and other Industry information. See the Industry Details Screen for more info on all the fields. NOTE: From the Industry Details Screen you can ONLY edit the information on the Site Info, Account Info and the Industry Dates tabs. The other tabs are edited using the Add New and Details buttons.
- Modifying Existing Industries - From the Industry Management Screen, click on
the Edit Industry button, opening the Industry Details
Screen. Next click the Save
button to record the change or the Cancel button to abandon the change. Then to return to the Industry
Management Screen, click on the Close
button. From the Industry Details
Screen you can edit Site Info, Account Info and the Industry Dates tabs. NOTE:
From the Industry Details Screen you can ONLY edit the information on the Site Info, Account Info and
the Industry Dates tabs. The other tabs are edited using the Add New
and Details buttons.
- Deleting Industries - This function is disabled by default in order
to prevent unplanned Industry deletions.
You can enable it from the Configurations Tab in Industry Administration. When you delete an Industry, it and all
its related samples, violations, monitoring points, attached files, etc.
are permanently deleted from
the database.
- Attaching Files – This function appears under the Attachments Tab
where you view files currently attached to the Industry or attach new
files.
